Antwerp. According to an old legend, Antwerp owes its name to the Roman soldier Silvius Brabo. He cut off the hand of the terrible giant Druon Antigoon and threw it into the Scheldt. Hand Throwing became Antwerp. Whether you believe it or not, the people of Antwerp erected a statue to it! For over a hundred years, Silvius Brabo has stood dead still in throwing position on the Grote Markt.
But fortunately, illustrator Fleroux has put an end to this with a wink: The hand is finally thrown into the Scheldt! There are even more famous Antwerp people on the puzzle. You can see how the painter Rubens went about his work and also see some contemporary Antwerp celebrities. And, of course, our regular guests Bob and Nancy are back again. You will see what happens to them when you finish the puzzle!
